Heya,
I'm gna be studying at HW starting september, so thought id ask when you guys plan to get going again? Will there be a game during freshers? I played at UoE's freshers game last year and it was a blast, £2 rebuy - dunno if you normally do something like that but could be a gd idea maybe?  Think about 70 ppl played that game and others were turned away hehe.
Also, do u only play £5 or higher limits as well? |

The button calls. Moto shows Ax Ax for quad aces, but the button has K J for the royal flush. Moto is eliminated in stunning fashion.

So we're playing 6 handed .10/.20 (deep stacked) at Pat Mcgrath's house when this hand came up. Opinions please.
First Position: Raises to £1 (He's been extremely loose/Agg)
Second Position: folds
Third Postion: Calls (equally as loose as the intial raiser)
Button: Calls (very tight)
SB: Calls (Very loose also)
BB: Folds

Ok, I am intrested to know what the "correct" call is mathematically here at a hand from the casino.
I am on the button (with As Kc) at an 8 player table. Everyone has called to the player in seat 6 (assuming the SB is seat 1) so a pot of £9, he makes it £14 to play. Seat 7 folds and I raise to £30. The SB calls and everyone folds to seat 6 who pushes for £50 - which is an under-raise I call and the SB also calls.
We have a pot of £158.
